High Fives Foundation

The Foundation aims to be the leader of education and recovery of life-altering injuries in outdoor action sports.


Who Can Apply

Open to those injured in outdoor adventure sports and wounded Veterans pursuing outdoor adventure sports and those injured in inertia-based accidents who wish to pursue outdoor adventure sports.


When to Apply

Open in three cycles: Jan 1-31, May 1-31, and Aug 1-31 (This grant cycle only funds adaptive outdoor adventure sports equipment).






Challenged Athletes Foundation

CAF’s flagship grant program aims to remove the barriers that exist between adaptive athletes and their pursuit of sport and fitness.


Who Can Apply

individuals with a permanent physical disability that impairs mobility, affects the neuromuscular system, or impairs balance or motor control.


Applicants may request one of the following grant types:

– Sports Expenses Grant

– Equipment Grant


When to Apply

Grant application period runs from September 1, 2024 through November 3, 2024.






Kelly Brush Foundation

Through the Active Fund, grants are provided for individuals with paralysis caused by spinal cord injury to purchase adaptive sports equipment.


Who Can Apply

Individuals with paralysis caused by spinal cord injury who reside in the US.


Eligible Equipment

Any piece of sports or recreation equipment specifically designed for people with disabilities that allows an applicant to be active.


When to Apply

The Fall Active Fund Open NOW Until 5 PM EST on September 18, 2024.






Giftability

A nonprofit organization dedicated to giving children with disabilities the opportunity to live healthy, active lives.


Who Can Apply

Individuals under 18 who need adaptive equipment that will allow them to participate in sports and recreational activities.
