Adaptive Cycling – Monthly Ride
Each month we will be coming together to ride on the Silver Comet Trail.
This ride is for you:
- if you have an adaptive bike and want to get together with a community of other adaptive cyclists.
- have never tried adaptive cycling but would like to come and be fitted for one of our bikes and then take it for a ride on the trail.
- don’t own your own bike but have used an adaptive bike before and would like to borrow one of our bikes to ride.
- are an able-bodied cyclist who wants to ride alongside our group to provide support.
We will have pace and distance options for all levels of cyclists.

Meeting location: The Bike Barn – 4342 Floyd Rd SW, Mableton, GA 30126
Fee: $10 to borrow a bike. Free if you bring your own.
Adaptive Bike Rentals
Our adaptive cycle loan program is designed to allow individuals with a physical disability to be fitted for an adaptive bike and to take the bike on loan to learn and enjoy all the benefits of cycling.
If you have never tried an adaptive bike before please come along to one of our beginner fit and ride events before renting a bike.
$40 per day
Rent the bikes per day or for multiple days. The daily price is the same.

Saturday June 4 -Strong4Life Superhero Sprint
Grab your cape for the Strong4Life Superhero Sprint on Saturday, June 4th at Piedmont Park. Run, walk, or cycle to the finish line in the annual 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run benefitting Strong4Life and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
Register and select Catalyst Sports as your team. We are aiming for everyone to take part in the 5K but you are welcome to register for any event.
Then email us (email@example.com) and let us know that you are participating and if you need to borrow a bike for the event.
We will transport the bike to the event and get you ready to race!
Sunday June 12 – Hotlanta Half Marathon
The HOTLANTA Half Marathon continues its tradition of bringing the love of running to the best of Atlanta! The journey of Atlanta landmarks kicks off at Atlanta’s Pemberton Place – World of Coca-Cola, winding runners through the streets and onto the vista views of the city along the Beltline. Just when you think the course couldn’t get any better, you will pass through historic Piedmont Park and pay homage to the Olympians as you run by Centennial Park. Let your excitement shine right along with the sun beaming off Georgia’s gold capital building as you cruise back to the finish line at Pemberton Place.
Sunday, Oct 2 – Spin For Kids, Rutledge, GA
Spin for Kids is Camp Twin Lakes’ annual fundraising bike ride starting at Camp Twin Lakes- Rutledge, winding through the rider’s choice of six scenic routes, and ending at Camp for a post-ride celebration.
