We provide life-changing, community-based, adaptive adventure sports for people with disabilities in Asheville and throughout Western North Carolina.
At this Asheville location we offer many different opportunities for adaptive mountain biking and rock climbing adventures:
ADAPTIVE MOUNTAIN BIKING
Asheville is now home to the Catalyst Sports Adaptive Mountain Bike Program.

When: Saturday 12/10/22
Time: 12:00 – 4:30pm
Where: Ride Kanuga Bike Park; 1249 Kanuga Lake Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28739
Description: Join us at RideKanuga Bike Park for our last MTB clinic of 2022. We will have the Catalyst bike fleet available to ride, or join the group by bringing your own bike. When you pull into the gravel parking lot, drive past the shop building & follow the gravel road down to the lower parking lot. Here you will see the Catalyst Truck & trailer. Volunteers are asked to bring your own mountain bikes. Be sure to dress for the weather. Helmets mandatory. Ride Kanuga has gravel/dirt parking lots. Portable toilets (including one accessible toilet are located in the upper parking lot).
Adaptive MTB Volunteers: Please sign up to join us and support the adaptive mountain bikers on the trail. Own bike required. Please select the time slot that you are available for.
ADAPTIVE ROCK CLIMBING
Indoor Rock Climbing: Thanks to a new partnership with the Riveter we are launching a monthly adaptive indoor rock climbing program! These rock climbing clinics for youth and adults with a wide range of physical disabilities and are open to all levels of climber from those who have never climbed before to experienced climbers looking for regular opportunities to climb with others.
When: 4th Saturday of each month. 4pm – 6pm
