Welcome to the Asheville, North Carolina Chapter!
We provide life-changing, community-based, adaptive adventure sports for people with disabilities in Asheville and throughout Western North Carolina.
At this location we offer many different opportunities for adaptive mountain biking and rock climbing adventures:
ADAPTIVE MOUNTAIN BIKING
Asheville is home to the Catalyst Sports Adaptive Mountain Bike Program.
When: Saturday, June 3rd
Where: Transylvania County Parks & Rec Gymnasium Parking Lot, 1078 Ecusta Rd, Brevard, NC 28712
Volunteers should bring their own bike.
Sign up to attend and select your time slot and whether you are bringing your own bike or borrowing an adaptive MTB.
ADAPTIVE ROCK CLIMBING
Indoor Rock Climbing: Thanks to a new partnership with the Riveter we are launching a monthly adaptive indoor rock climbing program! These rock climbing clinics for youth and adults with a wide range of physical disabilities and are open to all levels of climber from those who have never climbed before to experienced climbers looking for regular opportunities to climb with others.
When: 4th Saturday of each month. 4pm – 6pm
